This beautiful bike was restored in 2011, and bought at auction by the current owner, who then brought the bike to us for our input.
We felt the build was generally very good. But, we did find a substantial number of functional and cosmetic updates that were needed to achieve something closer to factory original. These updates have been documented extensively on our blog.
We swapped out the fenders and tank for originals, gave the bike a proper paint job, installed proper crossover clamps, corrected bolts & fasteners, installed and properly routed correct oil lines, corrected all wiring & electrical issues, swapped out many Asian parts for British OEM parts, and tuned the bike so that it runs really, really well.
The changes we made result in a bike that’s likely worth far more than the purchase price, and which far more accurately represents a 1969 T120R as it was originally built.
